Have you ever heard of “exotic” beans?  Have you ever seen “bean” art?  How many varieties of beans can you taste in one weekend?  Well … NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO FIND OUT!

The 23^rd annual CA Dry Bean Festival is arriving in downtown Tracy.  With over 150 vendors and an expected crowd of over 50,000 – Tracy is the place to be this weekend!

Saturday, September 12 from 10 AM – 7 PM

Sunday, September 13 from 10 AM – 6 PM

The whole family will enjoy:

• Cooking and eating contests, including the “Chili Bean” and the “Best Bean Dish” cook-offs.
• 60 varieties of exotic beans with recipes by Pacific Grain & Foods of Fresno.
• Bean Town returns offering such delights as Red Bean Ice Cream, the Bean Museum, Hometown Bean Tasting, 40+ bean varieties for purchase, and more.
• NEW! Arm Wrestling contest and the new title of “Bean Festival Strong Man” in different weight categories.
• The “Show and Shine” car show features 100+ cars, from classic to late models.
• Kids BE’AN Kids Craft Area where your little “Picasso” could be discovered while designing art from beans.
• Kids’ Family Fun Zone complete with carnival rides, a kids’ race track, a climbing wall, and much more.
• The famous Bean Festival mascots – Pinto and Pepe, makes great photos.
• Performances by the Tracy Bean Festival Queen and Princess.

Outstanding entertainment includes guitar solos, dancing, and hip hop.  Numerous bands will “strut their strings” with music styles guaranteed to keep your “toes tapping” and your “hands clapping”!  Styles include:
