San Francisco Airport (SFO)
You and several family members, friends, or employees have finally arrived at San Francisco International Airport after a long, tiring journey. In fact, you flew during the early morning hours so all of you could find appropriate transportation to the Tri-Valley and Bay Area. Top priority is to promptly arrive at your destination and begin an important day. Your destination may be a hotel, a client’s business, a convention center, your own office, or any number of tourist attractions. BUT … the final destination isn’t the most important thing on your mind … it’s HOW to get there! You may ask:
- What are my transportation options?
- Is there a direct, non-stop route?
- What is the cost for my group?
- How comfortable will the ride be?
We, at AAA Transportation, have done a little “leg-work” for you. There are quite a few options available … that is:
- If you don’t mind taking public transportation (buses) with numerous pre-scheduled stops that can drop you off after between 50 minutes to 1 ½ hours.
- Door-to-door and pre-arranged vans that must make frequent stops to meet the needs of the other customers with which you happen to be paired.
- Taxis (are there any economical ones?)
- Limousine companies
You may think that the last option – Limousine companies – would be the most expensive way to travel. Well, let’s compare “apples to apples” and see if this is true with AAA Transportation. Suppose your destination is Livermore for 3 people from SFO. You exclude public transportation because there are too many stops on the way to your drop-off point in Livermore. The CO$T comparison looks like THI$$:
- Shared-Ride vans will eventually drop you off at your location; but you may stop several times and go several miles out of your way to get there. Even with this disadvantage, you’ll pay on average between $100 – $111 + gratuity for your party of three.
- Private vans, of course, travel a direct route. On average, you’ll pay between $136 – $159 + gratuity for your three-some. Here’s a thought … since most of these vans accommodate up to nine people, you could economize by traveling with more people next time … NOT!
- Another option available from the van companies is an ExecuCar sedan. The average cost ranges between $130 – $140 + gratuity for up to four people.
AAA Transportation offers “Meet and Greet” luxury Town Car transportation direct to your destination for ONLY $89 + gratuity, with a required $4 toll. All we ask is that you make a reservation!
AAA Transportation also wants to save everyone’s environment. So, if you prefer traveling in one of our late-model hybrid Prius’, you’ll save an extra $5 off of our already-low sedan rates!
We have proudly serviced both business and individual clients from the San Francisco International (SFO), Oakland International (OAK), and San Jose International (SJC) airports since 2001. Any way you compare, we are the MOST economical way to travel. Make your transportation reservations with our experienced staff NOW by calling 1-866- 558-0222 or online at www.aaa-trans.com.

Beginning Tuesday, December 22, eight Farewell Performances of one of the most sensational International dance and music performances will ignite San Francisco for the Holidays – RIVERDANCE!
In thunderous celebration of Irish music, song, and dance, millions of spellbound audiences around the globe have thrilled to this International phenomenon.
- The Washington Post raves, “A Phenomenon of Historic Proportions!”
- The Chicago Tribune heralds Riverdance as “An explosion of sight and sound that simply takes your breath away.”
- The London Times exclaims, “A family evening unlike anything else!”
Riverdance thunderously celebrates Irish music, song, and dance. Beginning with the ancient days of Celtic mythology, you will be swept along Irish history as if in a “roaring river of dance, emotion, and music”. Celebrations of the sun, fire, water, and other forces of nature skillfully weave into the story of Irish immigration to America, the dark days of slavery, ultimate freedom, and finally the immigrants’ joyous return to their beloved land of Ireland.
Staged in San Francisco’s palatial Golden Gate Theatre, your family can enjoy an “unforgettable evening” at one or several of the following performances:
- Tuesday, December 22, at 7:30 PM
- Wednesday, December 23, at 1 PM and 7:30 PM
- Thursday, December 24, at 1 PM
- Saturday, December 26, at 1 PM and 7:30 PM
- Sunday, December 27, at 1 PM and 6:00 PM
The historic Golden Gate Theatre showcases these performances in grandeur and style. The original four-story tall sign has beckoned theater-goers for over 80 years. The Golden Gate began its humble debut in 1922 with vaudeville. Audiences clamored to see the Cinerama wide screen performances of the Marx Brothers and the legendary Frank Sinatra. Boasting a magnificent stage and leading-edge acoustics of that day, the Golden Gate Theatre was truly “the grand lady of San Francisco”.
Over time, “the grand lady” was altered beyond recognition, but now she stands in her original size and splendor proudly hosting live theater once again. Most recently, the Broadway blockbusters Hairspray, Movin’ Out, Mamma Mia!, Chicago, 42nd Street and Rent have delighted audiences in style.
AAA Transportation has the proud heritage of serving both individuals and businesses in the Tri-Valley and Bay Area since 2001. Whether you are destined for your wedding, a relaxing visit, a unique business meeting, or other special event, AAA Transportation’s luxury limousines, taxis, and vans escort you and your groups smoothly and effortlessly. The ornate Spanish cathedral sits on Market Street in San Francisco beckoning visitors from far and wide to enter its doors into an “out-of-this-world” experience. Built in 1926 to model a 12th Century Spanish palace, the Orpheum Theatre has hosted an unbelievable variety of theatrical productions.
First, let’s step into this magical palace. Cascades of beautiful tapestries create an old-world atmosphere where kings and queens once ruled. Circling the ceiling, full-bodied lions look down on the seated guests (am I imagining that they look “hungry”?). As you walk down the aisles to your plush theatre seat, figures from mythical folklore follow you with their unblinking eyes. In the center ceiling of this grand palace, an ornate sun and twinkling stars dance and glitter over every seat in the house.
Crowned with the privilege of being one of San Francisco’s Historical Landmarks, the Orpheum Theatre has been host to vaudeville shows, silent films, motion pictures, musical comedies, and even large-scale Broadway shows. Open 7 days a week, your family and friends can dip into any number of cultural delights all through the year.
Currently, the Orpheum is presenting the smash hit musical, WICKED. This fanciful tale carries you to the Land of Oz long before Dorothy and Toto blew in by tornado. Two girls’ lives are forever changed there – one for the better – the other for the worse. Both make a later appearance in “The Wizard of Oz” as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch. Which witch is which girl? You’ll need to attend this wonderful tale of exhilarating music and staged action to find out.
WICKED debuted in San Francisco’s own Curran Theatre in 2003, then became a Gershwin Theatre Broadway hit in the same year. Since then, box office sales have averaged $1.4 million a week!
*Catch the next showing on Saturday, August 15, at 2:00 PM. *Repeat performances continue through the remainder of 2009.
AAA Transportation provides your “royal carriage” to and from this exciting event. Spotless, luxury limousines, vans, and passenger cars await to whisk your group away in style and comfort. Make your advance reservations NOW by calling 866-558-0222 or going online at www.aaa-trans.com. We always carry you in style!
